Actors Simbu and Gautham Karthik are teaming up for the first time in a mega-budgeted film to be produced by Studio Green. Reportedly, this film will be a remake of Kannada film, Mufti which starred Shiva Rajkumar as a gang boss providing justice and Sriimurali as the cop who goes undercover to capture this don. The shoot for the film has began today in Karnataka
In the Tamil version which will be helmed by Mufti director Narthan, Simbu will be seen playing this gangster while Gautham will play the role of the cop. The confirmed crew of this film so far includes Mufti's cinematographer Naveen Kumar for the camera, Madhan Karky for dialogues and lyrics and twins Anbariv (who are currently fighting their removal from stunt union at court) for the stunts.
