With Boney Kapoor produced Nerkonda Paarvai on one hand and Tamil films Veeram and Vedhalam gearing up to be remade in Hindi on the other, Ajith clearly seems to be the flavour of the season in Bollywood.
Recently it was reported that Land of Lungi, the Hindi remake of Siva directed Veeram couldn't rope in Akshay Kumar as the lead due to his tight schedule. However the actor seemingly recommended Vicky Kaushal's name instead to producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Farhad Samji and the two are said to have approached Kaushal too, for the same.
Now, reports of another Siva directed film Vedhalam (2015) which also starred Ajith in the lead, being remade in Hindi has surfaced. The remake will be bankrolled by T Series producer Bhushan Kumar and John Abraham is said to have given his nod to play the lead. An official announcement on the same is however awaited.
