Hollywood stuntman Greg Powell in Suriya's Soorarai Pottru!

 

Sudha Kongara directed Soorarai Pottru which is a film based on the life of Air Deccan founder G.R. Gopinath recently wrapped its second schedule of shooting at Chandigargh. With Suriya's return to Chennai, images from the sets of this said film had started surfacing on the internet and Hollywood stuntman Greg Powell who was previously speculated to be a part of the film, was spotted in them.

 
Powell is known for coordinating the stunts of Hollywood films like The Bourne Ultimatum, Skyfall, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious 6, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Hercules among others. In India, he has worked in films namely Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Hindi) and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (Telugu).


Soorarai Pottru is produced by 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment and has G.V. Prakash for music and Aparna Balamurali as the female lead.
