Vadivelu reacts to Contractor Nesamani setting social media on Fire with #Pray_For_Neasamani memes!

 

Tamil cinema witnessed history when a 18 year old fictional character played by comedian Vadivelu set the social media on fire, inducing an influx of memes and jokes. 

Contractor Nesamani, a painter-on-the-go Vadivelu played in Siddique directed Friends gained worldwide attention after a comment made by one Vignesh Prabhakar on a Pakistan based Facebook page called 'Civil Engineering Leaners' snowballed into a twitter phenomenon.

Following the storm, people have been curious to know what Vadivelu himself thought about this sudden insurgence of his almost 2 decade old character and the actor in various interviews has humble attributed this recognition to director Siddique and his fans. Excerpts of Vadivelu's statements to various media platforms can be found below:
