Ayogya, actor Vishal's Tamil remake of Temper was supposed to release today, but early this morning expectant viewers who lined up in theaters returned dejected for it was announced that the movie will not be screened. Though Vishal confirmed the postponed of his film only through a cryptic tweet, it is now being reported that issues over remake rights might be the reason behind the last-minute delay of the film.
It is believed that the remake rights of Jr. NTR's Temper was sold to one producer in all languages except Tamil, who has now claimed that since he holds the rights in 'all languages' he be paid Rs. 3 Cr. in order for Ayogya to release.
It is worth mentioning here that the Venkat Mohan directed Ayogya has had release date changes atleast thrice this year and in the bygone week, there were rumours of the film getting postponed which has now turned into an unfortunate reality. Ayogya also stars Raashi Khanna in the lead and the Tamil version is produced by Light House Movie Makers with Screen Scene as the distribution partner.
