Rajinikanth, A.R. Murgadoss' Darbar begins shooting at Mumbai!

 

Darbar, Rajinikanth's upcoming film with A.R. Murugadoss had its first look release yesterday and it was hard to miss Gateway of India featured in the poster. This suggested a connection to Mumbai and now the crew has now launched the film in the city with a pooja ceremony.


A.R. Murugadoss also took to twitter to update that the film has begun shooting starting today and attached the hashtag #IdhuThalaivarinDarbar.

Darbar is A.R. Murgadoss' maiden venture with Rajinikanth and the actor is said to be playing a cop in this movie. The first look poster of the film came with a line that said, “you decide whether you want me to be good bad or worse,” and it sets the tone for the kind of cop the superstar will be playing.


Darbar has Nayanthara playing female lead and has Anirudh for music, Santosh Sivan for cinematography and Lyca Productions bankrolling the film.  The movie is scheduled for a release during Pongal, 2020.
