Suriya 38 begins shooting, Aparna Balamurali is female lead!

Suriya and Irudhu Suttru director Sudha Kongara are teaming up for a film based on the life of Air Deccan founder G.R. Gopinath and the film which is tentatively titled Suriya 38 was launched with an official pooja ceremony over the weekend.

 
The project has Suriya's 2D Entertainment collaborate with producer Guneet Monga (whose Shikya Entertainment presented the Oscar Winning Period. End of Sentence) and the team begins shooting today. Aparna Balamurali who was seen in 8 Thotakkal and Sarvam Thaala Mayam will be paired opposite Suriya (as Bhargavi Gopinath) in the movie.

 
Composer of the film G.V. Prakash shared that he has teamed up with Thaikudam Bridge, a popular band in Kerala for the music of this film.

Uriyadi film series actor-director Vijay Kumar has penned the dialogues for this film while Niketh Bommi Reddy is the cinematographer and Sathish Surya the editor. Actors Arjunan, Kaali Venkat and Vivek Prasanna are part of the supporting cast among others.
