Uriyadi 2 which is actor, director Vijay Kumar's sequel to his political action thriller Uriyadi has been censored by the CBFC and the movie has been certified a clean U. The film's release date has also been announced and it will hit theater screens on April 5, 2019.

Produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment, Uriyadi 2 also stars Vismaya, Sudhakar, Shankar Thas and Abbas among others and has Govind Vasantha of 96 fame for music. The film will be presented by Sakthi Film Factory.
