A whopping price for Thalapathy 63's Satellite & Streaming Rights!

 

Only yesterday it was officially announced that Sun TV, one of the major players in the small screen industry took home the satellite rights of Vijay's next film Thalapathy 63. Following this, the estimates of the satellite right and streaming rights of the Atlee directed film started doing the rounds.
 
According to trade sources, the combined price of both satellite and streaming stands between Rs. 50 and 60 crores and currently, AGS Entertainment producers of Thalapathy 63 are in talks with Sun Nxt and Prime Video (Amazon) with respect to the latter.

Thalapathy 63 is currently being shot in and around Chennai and the shooting here is expected to go on for another 2-3 months. The developments surrounding the film, which is tipped to be a sports drama indicates that the film is right on track for a Diwali release.
