Atlee, who directed Mersal and Theri, is currently directing Vijay for the third time in their upcoming film Thalapathy 63. Latest on this film is that the movie which is bankrolled under AGS Entertainment has sold its satellite rights to Sun TV and the same has been officially updated by the Sun TV's twitter handle.

Thalapathy 63 is being shot at a brisk pace in various parts of Chennai and the team is currently shooting for a song with Vijay and Nayanthara in North Chennai. The yet-to-be titled film, which is touted to be a sports-based entertainer is expected to release for Diwali 2019.
