Earlier today we came to you with the report of Sivakarthikeyan's next film titled Hero, which is a production venture of KJR Studios. The movie began its first day of shooting today and has already landed in trouble.
Last evening, a Telugu production banner named Mythri Movie Makers announced their next with Vijay Deverakonda under the same title Hero and since they plan to release their film in Tamil as well, a clash of the titles has arisen.
Mighty glad to announce our Production No. 9 with @TheDeverakonda to be directed by Anand Annamalai in all South Indian languages titled "HERO". Shoot starts on 22nd April in New Delhi.

Director of Vijay Deverakonda starrer Anand Annamalai states that the title belongs to him in Tamil as well, since Tribal Arts a production company he co-owns with Manikandan have TFPC receipts (issued on June 14, 2018) of the title belonging to them till June 24, 2019.

On the other hand, KJR Studios claim that they acquired the title from SS Kumaran who has a TFPC letter of the title being issued to him on August 30, 2018 (with a validity till August 24, 2019).

KJR Studios also have a TFPC letter issued February 22, 2019 which says that the title Hero is theirs now.
