Will Thala 60 be remake of Egyptian film Hepta: The Last Lecture?

 

We have long known that actor Ajith who is currently shooting for Thala 59, remake of Pink will be a part of Boney Kapoor-H.Vinoth duo's next project as well. 

This movie which is widely known as Thala 60 has recently been in the news for being another remake. It is being said that producer Boney Kapoor who holds the remake rights to Egyptian film Hepta: The Last Lecture played the actor the movie recently and the team is contemplating making it their next project instead of a fresh script from H. Vinoth. 

However, some reports also suggest that there is no truth to these talks and it is worth mentioning here that no official announcements have been made as well in this regard. 

Hepta: The Last Lecture is based on Mohamed Sadek’s best-selling book and revolves around the seven stages of love as explained by a social psychology specialist. The 2016 movie was one of the highest-grossing films in the history of Egyptian cinema.
