Vaa Vaathiyaar Postponed Again Over Financial Dispute
Vaa Vaathiyaar, the highly anticipated Tamil film starring Karthi and directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, has faced multiple release postponements. Originally scheduled for December 5, 2025, the film was delayed due to technical issues and a Madras High Court ban related to unpaid producer loans. Although the makers later announced a new release date of December 12, 2025, the film has now been postponed again after a financier approached the court, demanding that producer K. E. Gnanavel Raja clear pending dues before release. The Madras High Court has ordered the producer to settle the outstanding amount and has stayed the film’s release on all platforms until repayment is confirmed. Prathyangira Cinemas, the overseas distributor, announced the delay after being informed by Studio Green Productions.
