Between 2026-2030, streaming platform JioHotstar plans to invest Rs. 4,000 crore in South India-focused OTT content and the creator ecosystem. In 2026 alone, JioHotstar has scheduled 1,500 hours of new programmes across South Indian languages of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
