We had earlier reported that Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Indian 2 with director Shankar is all set to begin from December 14, 2018 and Kajal Aggarwal was rumoured to be playing the female lead in it. As if to confirm the same, the actress during a pre-release event (that took place on Sunday) announced that her next film is with Kamal Haasan.
Dulquer Salmaan and Simbu are also said to be a part of the film's cast, though an official word on the same is yet to be heard. Indian 2 will see Kamal Haasan return to his famous 'Indian Thatha' avatar, avenging the bad for the common good. The film is most likely to release in the summer of 2020 and is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
