Gaja Cyclone Relief: Vikram, A.R. Rahman add to Kollywood's contributions to Save Delta!

 

The Tamil film fraternity has stepped up big time to help the affected of the recent natural calamity of Tamil Nadu, the Gaja Cyclone.  While actors with politician ambitions such as Rajini, Kamal and Vijay extended help through their respective associations, a majority of them donated cheques to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund (CMPRF).
 
Actor Vikram is the latest Kollywood personality to donate to the CMPRF and he has given them a huge sum of Rs. 25 lakh. Composer A.R. Rahman on the other hand has announced that part of the benefits from one of his concerts in Toronto will be donated to towards the Gaja Cyclone relief though an amount has not been disclosed.
