Simbu's Vandha Rajavaathan Varuven to wrap shooting

 

If reports are anything to go by then actor Simbu has been shooting day in and day out for his upcoming film Vandha Rajavaathan Varuven.Apprently, the Sundar. C directorial has less than a week of shooting and if all goes well, then Lyca Productions will release the film for Pongal, 2019 as announced.
  
It is worth mentioning here that post Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, Simbu has been keen on completing his projects on time. It is also worth pointing out that his film will be up against Rajinikanth's Petta (Sun Pictures) and Ajith's Viswasam (Satya Jyothi Films), whic are also set to hit theatre screens during that festive holidays.
 
Vandha Rajavaathan Varuven is the Tamil remake of Attarintiki Daredi which was a comedy-drama about a grandson trying to reconcile his aunt with his family and grandfather. The movie was originally written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and its Tamil version features Catherine Tresa and Megha Akash as female leads.
