'I am very sorry': Actor Sivakumar apologizes after knocking down a fan's phone in public!

 

Yesterday we had reported about the 'incident' in which actor Sivakumar had knocked down a youngster's phone who tried clicking a selfie with the actor but from a very safe distance. Following the condemnation on the internet for Sivakumar (which also included a meme frenzy), the actor has now apologized for the same.
 
A video which is doing the rounds on the internet has Sivakumar saying, "Enthusiastic fans will behave like that only while amongst an uncontrollable crowd. A popular artiste must tolerate all this. However, since majority of the people are of the opinion that 'Sivakumar knocking down a phone is wrong', I whole-heartedly apologize for my behaviour. I am very sorry." 


Media reports also say that that actor has reasoned his outburst of anger as being subject to selfies right from the time he got down from the car. Detailed statement here  and here.
