NGK starring Suriya, Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles is directed by Selvaraghavan. The team is waiting for Suriya to get back to his NGK look to resume film shooting in November as he is currently shooting for Suriya 37 directed by KV Anand. However, the team is working on the film's music. Writer-director Vignesh Shivan, who has penned chartbusters including Adhaaru Udhaaru, Naanum Rowdy Thaan and Thaana Serntha Kootam will be penning the lyrics for a song in NGK. Vignesh shared the news on his Twitter page.

Vignesh Shivn has earlier directed Suriya in Thaana Serntha Kootam. NGK has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
