MeToo allegations against Sajid Khan: Akshay Kumar cancels shoot of Housefull 4, director steps down!

 

The MeToo scanner is slowly but surely bringing out the big guns in the Hindi film industry and besides Queen director Vikas Bahl, Mogul director Subhash Kapoor and veteran director Subhash Ghai, Housefull 4 director Sajid Khan [who is related to famous directors like Farah Khan (sister), Farhan Akthar (maternal cousin) and Zoya Akthar (maternal cousin)] is the latest to be charged with inappropriate behavior and sexual allegations.
 
Incidentally, Sajid Khan is the second member of team Housefull 4 to be accused of assault after Nana Patekar [the allegations against whom pioneered this whole Me Too India movement]. Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual misconduct by Simran Suri, Ungli actress Rachel White, Saloni Chopra from the TV show Screwed Up and journalist Karishma Upadhyay.

While hero of Housefull 4 Akshay Kumar condemned the allegations and cancelled the shoot, Sajid Khan stepped down from directing the film further.
