Vijay's Sarkar is one of the hugely anticipated films in Kollywood which is set to hit the screens for Diwali. The film is red hot in trade and there has been a huge demand for the film in pre-release business. Thenandal Films who produced Vijay's Mersal will be presenting the film worldwide.

Tirunelveli / Kanyakumari (TK area) - Zion Films - Rs. 5 cr

Coimbatore - Mannar of Kandhasamy Arts - Rs. 13.5 cr

The film has been sold out for record price in all areas. The business for the remaining areas is expected to be closed by the end of this week.

Sarkar has made good pre-release business in other states and overseas market as well.

Karnataka - Sri Gokul Films - Rs. 8 cr

AP / TG - Ashok Vallabhaneni - Rs. 6 cr

Overseas - Rs. 25 crore

Sarkar starring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles is a political drama directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the film has music by A.R. Rahman. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Karu Palaniappan and Yogi Babu play supporting cast.
