Actor Jai's upcoming film Jarugandi, which is also actor Nitin Sathyaa's maiden production venture was all set to hit theater screens on September 28, 2018. However, a latest update from sources close to the film suggests that the movie has been post-poned to a different date. According to them, Jarugandi will now hit theater screens on October 12, 2018 though an official announcement on the same is yet to be made. 

Directed by debutant Pichu Mani (erstwhile assistant of Venkat Prabhu), Jarugandi is touted to be a heist comedy and has Reba John playing female lead. The film is produced by Nitin's banner Shvedh  in association with Badri Kasthuri's Shradda Entertainment and has Bobo Sashi (Kulir 100 degree composer) for music, Aravindh for cinematography and Praveen KL for the edits.
