As reported yesterday, Suriya will be bankrolling the sequel of political thriller Uriyadi which hit the screens in 2016. Uriyadi 2 will also be directed by Vijayakumar who helmed the original. Vijayakumar besides directing will also be acting in the film. Suriya shared the Title Look poster of Uriyadi 2 on his social media page.

Uriyadi won critical acclaim from both audience and critics alike. Suriya's home banner 2D Entertainment will be bankrolling the project Uriyadi 2, which marks their seventh production venture. The film written and directed by Vijayakumar has music by Govind Vasantha of '96' fame, Praveen Kumar handles the camera and the editing will be done by Linu. Newcomer Vismaya will be playing the leading lady. The film go on floors today in Kutralam. The entire talkie portions is expected to be wrapped by November.
