Yuvan Shankar Raja's maiden production 'Pyaar Prema Kaadhal' has turned out to be a successful and profitable venture for the composer. The film, starring former Bigg Boss Tamil contestants Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in the lead roles opened to positive reviews from both the critics and audience alike. The film has successfully completed 25 days theatrical run at the Box Office and has been declared a 'Super-Hit' by the trade.

The film made on a low budget has grossed Rs. 10+ crore in TamilNadu while it has minted Rs. 2.31 crore in Chennai city alone. The film which clashed with Kamal Haasan's spy thriller Vishwaroopam 2 at the Box Office has done good business due positive word‐of‐mouth. The film has also clicked well amongst the youngsters, its target audience, for being fresh and entertaining.

Directed by debutante Elan, Pyaar Prema Kaadhal is all set to be remade in Hindi following the success of the film at the Box Office.
