Seethakathi Release Date: Is this when the Vijay Sethupathi starrer is hitting theatres?

Vijay Sethupathi's 25th film Seethakathi, which has him playing the the role of ‘Ayya’ -  a 70 year old theatre artiste is currently in the news for its release date. The movie which also stars actor-director Bharathiraja and veteran director J. Mahendran is planning to hit theatre screens onOctober 5, 2018 or so hints the industry buzz. An official confirmation on the same is however awaited.\
 
Seethakathi is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan and produced by Passion Studios with Govind P Menon for music, Saraskanth TK for cinematography and R. Govindaraj for edits. The movie is one of the three films of Vijay Sethupathi's (other two being Chekka Chivantha Vaanamand 96) expected to release in 2018.
