The most awaited Vada Chennai teaser was released on the occasion of Dhanush's birthday (July 28). The teaser received huge response from fans as well as critics. Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is the latest to appreciate the teaser. He also shared the teaser on his Twitter page.

Vada Chennai directed by Vetrimaran is set to hit the screens in September. Vada Chennai is a first part of a triology which is set in north Chennai. Also starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Samuthirakani, Andreah and Ameer among others. Vada Chennai is produced by Wunderbar Films and will be presented by Lyca Productions. The film has Santhosh Narayanan for music, Velraj for cinematography and G.B. Venkatesh for edits.
