The trailer of Vetrimaaran and Dhanush's long in the making Vada Chennai was unveiled today. The movie will hit the screens in September and an exact date is yet to be announced.

Vada Chennai is a first part of a triology and has Dhanush playing a carrom board player. The trilogy, set in north Chennai, will track 30 years of the life of a gangster. Also starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Samuthirakani, Andreah and Ameer among others. Vada Chennai is produced by Wunderbar Films and will be presented by Lyca Productions. The film has Santhosh Narayanan for music, Velraj for cinematography and G.B. Venkatesh for edits.
