The shooting of Jyothika's upcoming film Kaatrin Mozhi, which is the Tamil remake of Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu is progressing at a brisk pace. Simbu recently shot for a cameo role in the film. Jyothika and Lakshmi Manchu were part of the scene featuring STR. Producer Dhananjayan shared few pictures of Simbu from the film's shooting spot.

The makers are planing to release the film by October, 2018. The movie is a production venture of G. Dhananjayan and is directed by Radha Mohan. The film also starrs Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu, with A.H. Kaashif for music, Mahesh Muthuswami for cinematography and Praveen K.L. for the edits.
