NGK is one of the most awaited films this year which is gearing up for Diwali release. The makers who have so far release the first look of the film have planned a special treat for Suriya fans on the occasion of his birthday. Producer SR Prabhu who is bankrolling the project has revealed that an important update regarding the film will be made on July 23 which happens to be Suriya's birthday.

While he has not divulged any further information, Suriya fans who are eagerly awaiting to celebrate the star actor's birthday have been thrilled about this announcement. Well the guessing game is already on as to whether the team would release a new poster or teaser on the special day. 

The team is working hard in full swing to release the film on Diwali. Suriya is currently shooting in London for Suriya 37 directed by KV Anand. He will join NGK team for the final schedule in mid-July and complete his portions in the film. NGK is directed by Selvaraghavan and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi play the leading ladies.
