The shooting of Seema Raja has been wrapped up finally. The film has been in the making for almost a year now. Siva Karthikeyan has thanked his entire team for the year long support. He had tweeted:

Seema Raja is one of the most-awaited projects of Sivakarthikeyan as it marks his reunion with director Ponram for the third time after delivering two big hits with 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' and 'Rajni Murugan'. 

Samantha plays the leading lady. The film is bankrolled by 24 AM Studios and has music by Imman. The film, which boasts of an ensemble cast including Simran, Soori, and Napolean, is scheduled for release on September 13, 2018 for the Vinayaga Chathurthi weekend.
