Suriya starrer NGK directed by Selvaragahavan is one of the most awaited films this year. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. The team has resumed shooting for the next schedule of the film, reportedly a long one, from yesterday. The makers are planning to release the film for Diwali and have confirmed the same on their official twitter handle.

NGK starring Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It is produced by S.R. Prabhu's production house Dream Warrior Pictures.

On the other hand, AR Murugadoss has also confirmed that Thalapathy 62 will have a Diwali release. If all goes well as planned, it is going to be a 'cracker' of a Diwali for fans this year.
