It is impossible to have forgotten the demonic nun that terrorized us all in The Conjuring 2 and Annabelle as the abbey and its back story is what is being told in the Warner Bros bscked The Nun. A teaser of this upcoming Conjuring spin-off film was released recently and the video showcases a priest and a novitiate setting out to investigate  the death of a nun in Romania.

The Nun has Bonnie Aarons playing the evil nun, Demian Bichir as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, Jonas Bloquet, Charlotte Hope and Ingrid Bisu among others. It is the fifth film in The Conjuring universe after The Conjuring (2013), Annabelle (2914), The Conjuring 2 (2016) and Annabelle: Creation (2017) and hits theatre screens on September 7, 2018. This production venture of James Wan is directed by Corin Hardy and will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi as well.
