The makers of Hiphop Tamizha Adhi’s Meesaya Murukku 2 have released the film’s second single, Pappali Pazhamey.

A romantic kuthu number, the song features Adhi and Chaithra Achar in a retro look. Composed by Adhi himself, the track is sung by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi along with Gana Vinod and Gana Dharani, with lyrics by KR Dharan.

The first single Aura 10/10 had earlier gained traction among reel creators, turning into a viral hit.

Directed by Adhi, the film is not a sequel despite its title. Meesaya Murukku 2 is set across two timelines—present day and the 1980s—and follows a musician’s journey to break stereotypes within classical music spaces.

The film also stars Ramya Ranganathan, Karunaas, Aadukalam Naren, Sha Ra, and Harshath Khan. Produced by Khushbu Sundar under Avni Movies, in association with Benzz Media Pvt Ltd, the film has cinematography by Balaji Subramanyam and editing by Fenny Oliver.
