Jana Nayagan Leak: Makers Issue Legal Notice, Warn of Strict Action

The makers of Jana Nayagan have issued a strong legal notice following the reported leak of the film online. Producer KVN Productions confirmed that scenes—and allegedly the full film—have been illegally accessed, copied, and circulated across digital platforms.

Terming it a serious criminal offence and copyright violation, the production house warned that anyone involved in downloading, sharing, or forwarding the leaked content via platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, X, YouTube, or torrents will face individual legal action.

The legal team stated that proceedings have already been initiated against the source of the leak, with further action underway against those involved in its circulation. They also urged the public to refrain from engaging with or sharing any pirated material, cautioning that strict civil and criminal consequences will follow.

The development comes amid ongoing delays in the film’s release due to censorship issues. Originally slated for a January 9 release, Jana Nayagan is currently under re-examination and is unlikely to hit theatres before the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Directed by H. Vinoth, the film stars Vijay alongside Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain.
