Kaala goes steady in USA: Becomes Rajinikanth's 5th film to hit $1 Million at the Box Office

The reviews for Rajinikanth starrer Kaala that released on June 7, 2018 has been between average and good and despite this, the film has been going steady in all territories in terms of box-office collections. Though Kaala hasn't met the extraordinary status of a Rajini film so far, the business hasn't been dull either. In USA, the film released in record number of 322 screens and at the end of second day, the movie has crossed $1 million mark at the box-office. With this, Rajinikanth has become the only Tamil actor to have five movies in the USA, that have crossed the $1 million mark in box-office collections. His previous films that crossed this mark before Kaala were Endhiran, Lingaa,Sivaji and Pa.Ranijith's other film with Rajini, Kabali.
