Director Pa Ranjith who is eagerly awaiting the release of Superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala, has released the teaser of his upcoming production venture Pariyerum Perumal, which is directed by debutant filmmaker Mari Selvaraj. The teaser looks very intense and hard hitting. 

Kathir and Anandhi play the lead roles in this rural drama. The film deals with Kathir (Pariyerum Perumal) who is a law college student and the hurdles faced by him in becoming a lawyer. The film also touches upon socio-political issues still prevailing in the rural villages.
