The shooting of Mani Ratnam's upcoming film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is progressing at a brisk pace. The team recently shot a schedule in Dubai. The latest to join the shoot is Model and former Miss India finalist Dayana Erappa. She is also one of sought after models in the industry currently. 

Mani Ratnam's upcoming mult-starrer film 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' (CCV) is one of the most awaited films in Kollywood. The film has a stellar cast of Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh. Actors Arun Vijay, Aishwariya Rajesh, Aravind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi have completed shooting for their portions in the film.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is titled Nawab in Telugu and has music by A.R. Rahman, cinematography by Santhosh Sivan and edits by Sreekar Prasad. The film is produced by Madras Talkies and will be presented by Lyca Productions.
