NGK team resumed shooting in Chennai after the end of the 48-days long TFPC strike. The team has started shooting its next schedule in Pollachi. The Pollachi schedule will last for 20 days. Lead actors Suriya, Sai Pallavi and supporting actors Ilavarasu and Bala Singh are part of this schedule. The makers are planning to release the film on Diwali and the shooting has been progressing at a brisk pace to bring out the film as planned.

NGK is directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by SR Prabhu's 'Dream Warrior Pictures'. Rakhul Preet Singh plays one of the leading ladies. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music.
