Baskar Oru Rascal postponed yet again, Arvind Swami is unhappy and disappointed with the decision

The release of Baskar Oru Rascal has been postponed once again. The film release has been postponed several times already and the film was slated for release today (May 11). Looks like the makers have postponed the film’s release despite a very strong advance booking.

The film was initially slated for release on Jan 12 for Pongal and later it was postponed to March 29. Due to the film industry strike, the film release was pushed to April 27. Later due to lack of screens, the film was scheduled for release on May 11. Arvind Swami who plays the lead role has been eagerly looking forward for the film's release for quite sometime. With the makers deciding to postpone the release once again, Arvind Swami seems to be unhappy and disappointed with this decision. He took to his Twitter page to vent his anguish on the last minute postponement of the film’s release.

Bhaskar Oru Rascal, written and directed by Siddique, is a remake of his own Malayalam film Bhaskar the Rascal which hit the screens in 2015. The film features Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul in the lead roles, while Baby Nainika, Soori and Robo Sankar play supporting roles. Amresh Ganesh scores the music. Baskar Oru Rascal is produced by Harshini Movies.

The film release has been postponed by a week and will hit the screens on May 18, 2018.
