Arvind Swami starrer 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' was slated for release on April 27. The film release has now been postponed to next month. It will hit the screens on May 11. The lack of availability of screens is the reason cited for the postponement of the film. The lead actor of the film Arvind Swami took to his Twitter page to announce the postponement of the film. He wrote:

#BhaskarOruRascal will release on May 11th. From what I understand the lack of availability of the required theatres for a wide release has led to this postponement Regret any inconvenience. pic.twitter.com/N95anC5NzN

Bhaskar Oru Rascal, written and directed by Siddique, is a remake of his own Malayalam film Bhaskar the Rascal which hit the screens in 2015. The film features Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul in the lead roles, while Baby Nainika, Soori and Robo Sankar play supporting roles. Amresh Ganesh scores the music. Baskar Oru Rascal is produced by Harshini Movies.

With Bhaskar Oru Rascal release being postponed, only two tamil films AL Vijay's Diya and Vikram Prabhu's Pakka will hit the big screens this Friday.
