Sudha Kongara who received critical acclaim for her work in Irudhi Suttru is all set to team up with Suriya for his 38^th film. GV Prakash is scoring the music for Suriya’s film for the first time in his career.

In a recent interview, GV Prakash has revealed that Suriya 38 will be one of the important films in Indian Cinema. The music of the film will have a totally different dimension like Ayirathil Oruvan. GV Prakash has come up with an entirely new format for the film’s album which he has chosen to reveal at a later date.

Suriya is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming film NGK directed by Selvaraghavan. After wrapping NGK, Suriya will begin work on KV Anand’s film (Suriya 37) in June-July. Suriya 38 will start rolling once Suriya wraps KV Anand’s film. The project will be produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.
