AR Rahman uses African Kora for GV Prakash's Sarvam Thaala Mayam score

AR Rahman is scoring the music for GV Prakash Kumar's upcoming film Sarvam Thaala Mayam which is directed by Rajiv Menon after a long hiatus. AR Rahman who is currently working on the background score of the film has used West African musical instrument Kora for the recording. The Kora is a 21-string lute-bridge-harp used extensively in West Africa. Sarvam Thaala Mayam being a musical film, AR Rahman seems to be experimenting with new sounds, bringing in new dimensions to the film's score.
