Earlier today we had reported about the industry talk of TFPC Strike coming to an end on April 20, 2018. Now, another source informs MovieCrow that the shooting of Thalapathy 62 is planning to resume shooting from April 25, 2018 and the cast and crew required for the shoot have already been notified of the same. While only a tri-party meeting date has been made official by the TFPC, the growing developments and talks among the industry folks makes us wonder if indeed the strike is ending on the said date or around it.
Touted to be a political thriller, Thalapathy 62 bore the brunt of several disgruntled industry folks last month over 'special permission' given for the film's shoot admist the TFPC strike. The team has so far wrapped 40% of shooting and has a cast that includes Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Prem Kumar, Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi and Pala Karuppiah among others. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures, Thalapathy 62 is expected to hit theatre screens for Diwali and has A.R. Rahman for music, Girish Gangadharan for cinematography and Sreekar Prasad for the edits.
