Kabali actress Sai Dhansika, who featured as a hustler in Nesan Thirunesan produced Sinam, a Tamil short film that gained rave reviews for her has bagged an award yet again for the film. The latest award she received is for Best Actress in a Leading role under Award of Merit category at the Best Shorts Competition Award. Earlier, she had received a Best actress award at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (CICFF) for the same film.
Director Anandmurthy has also bagged an award each under the Award of Merit for Experimental genre and the Award of Recognition categories for his film which is set in Mumbai. Sinam has music by G.V.Prakash, cinematography by Saravana Natarajan and also starrs Bidita Bag in a pivotal role.
