No cameo for Anirudh in Kolamaavu Kokila: The lady in saree is not him!

Composer Anirudh who has time and again been in the news for making his debut in-front of the screen, had recently found himself in a sticky situation when an image of a lady in a saree made viral waves on the internet as 'Anirudh's new look'. Some even speculated it to be the composer's get-up for his cameo in the Nayanthara starrer Kolamaavu Kokila. However, both these speculations have come to an end as director Nelson has confirmed in a recent interview that Anirudh has no part to play in the movie, except for that of a composer.
 
Added to this, Anirudh's fans have gotten to the bottom of this 'lady look' situation and found out that the lady in the saree is a model named Shanoo and the image was taken during one of the bridal shoots for a magazine cover. A fan not only brought this to everyone's notice, but also went a step ahead and gotten a word of clarification from Shanoo herself (refer image above). The resemblance between Shanoo in the image and Anirudh is what is believed to have sparked the now-busted thought.
