Two and a half years ago, Indian cinema's blockbuster behemoth Baahubali had the honour of getting screened at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, Taiwan's largest film event. Now, Siddharth starrer/produced The House Next Door (known as Aval in Tamil) gets to be screened at 2018's edition of the film festival both in the English and Hindi category. The update was made by Siddharth himself, whose films are getting screened in the month of April this year.
#TheHouseNextDoor is selected for the Taipei Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival in Taiwan in April. Our HINDI film will represent HINDI cinema at the festival. Excited and looking forward! @Milind_Rau @andrea_jeremiah @atul_kulkarni @anishavictor @ggirishh

Taiwan has never really been accustomed to Indian films before but the popularity of Baahubali and Dangal kind of changed the game for Indian films with that section of the people. The Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival was first established in 1980 and is dedicated to enhancing intercultural understanding through cinema and to promoting cinema as an art form.
