Boomerang starring Atharvaa Murali and Megha Akash in the lead roles is directed by R. Kannan of 'Ivan Thanthiran' fame. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. Boomerang is an action drama with a powerful social message. 

Indhuja Ravichandran of 'Meyaadha Maan' fame has been roped in the film for an important role. The director has said that Indhuja's role is a challenging one and she was unanimously selected by his team during the screen test for the role. 

Upen Patel of 'I' fame is playing the villain. The film is produced by Kannan's home banner Masala Pix. Music score by Radhan of 'Arjun Reddy' fame.
