Regina Cassandra makes her Bollywood debut alongside Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

In 1994, Vidhu Vinodh Chopra wrote, directed and produced a film titled 1942 : A Love Story, which had a super-hit song named Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, featuring Anil Kapoor that later went on to attain a cult status. Now, Chopra's sister Shelly Chopra is directing a film of the same name, bringing together father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor for the first time on-screen. What's latest on this film is that South actress Regina Cassandra has been taken board, making it her debut Bollywood film. The actress was recently part of the successful AWE in Telugu and will be seen in Gautham Karthik - Karthik starrer Mr. Chandramouli in Tamil. 


Also produced by Vidhu Vinodh Chopra, the film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga also starrs Juhi Chawla and Rajkumar Rao and will be presented by Fox Star Studios. The movie hits theatre screens on October 12, 2018.
