Suriya's upcoming film tentatively titled Suriya 36 is directed by Selvaraghavan. The film went on floors last month and the first schedule of the film has been wrapped. The team is all set to begin the second schedule from this week.

A huge set resembling Ambasamudram has been erected in Chennai for the shoot. The set worth 3 crores has been recreated by art director RK Vijaya Murugan. The team will be shooting here for around 3 weeks. The lead cast and many other artists will be part of this schedule.

Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi play the female leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music. The film is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and is slated for Diwali release.
