Bala's latest, Naachiyaar has released to largely favorable reviews. The opening has been decent, with a Day1 TN gross of around 2 CR. The Chennai city gross is 31 lakhs. The weekend is expected to post good numbers thanks to the positive talk surrounding the film.

Lead pair, GV Prakash and Ivana have impressed one and all with their performance in the film, as teen lovers. The emotional, positive climax is also seen as a highlight. 

The total TN theatrical rights of Naachiyaar are worth around 7 CR. We have to see if the film can recover this amount and emerge successful.
